By now most of you should be aware that build 566 has been released and is being automatically updated for everyone on the beta. If you are using build 562 you are also aware of a bug with the automatic update where it continually asks you to updated but you are still left with build 562.
Here is the work-around:
1. Uninstall build 562 by going to Control Panel -> Add Remove Programs and removing "Messenger Beta"
2. After uninstalling it may appear that you still have Messenger installed, if that is the case try signing in and let the automatic update kick in. Proceed with the automatic update and install. After installing, you should now have build 566.
3. If you were able to fully uninstall build 562 during step one you can download build 566 from here .

I dont like this new version... the graphical interface is wost than Build 562 .. i know that there were fixed some bugs but... now this builds is almost the same that 7.5 ... i liked 562 because had a new graphical interface ...

What on earth are you talking about? I love the new interface, it's extremely crisp and clean (excepting the ads of course)

Well...its better than the last version, i hated the 562 - the interface was sucks and they sure did a fine job and progress in this new version. Can't wait to the APATCH for this one, and of course to the MSGPLUS.

agree..the interface is so gay in this version of wlm the older versions are much more better

I agree this looks s*!t now, plus when I installed it I couldnt open IE so I had to uninstall.

Is microsoft still giving out invitations for beta testers? Does anyone have an extra invite to send my way? I know there used to be a patch to get past the beta testing block but I would like to just get an invitation. If anyone has one I would appreciate it.

stop asking for invites! go sign up at ideas.live.com it took about 24 hours to get an for me to get an invite...
i agree with everyone who said .562 was better! .566 just looks like a white square.. much better than .365 though...
