Windows Live Messenger 8.0.0683.00 has been released to a MSN/WLM Messenger blogger named Michael Sun. This new build, 8.0.0683.00_Branches contains the new UI, new icons, and now uses the Windows Live ID service.

it's not a skin or an official build. it was leaked by and MS employee this morning and beta testers haven't even gotten it (unless they have gotten the leaked copy.. like i did)

This version has some issues with memory. Eats more memory than any other. Anyway you can install it, the GUI looks a lot better and you can add your own plugins (tweaking the registry)

i find it's using less memory 11mb far less than other builds

as with my experience with this build till now ive found out that this build connects a hell of a lot faster than the others (round 3 seconds) so its on par with yahoo in the login speed
