This should be like XP vs 2003 -> 2003 much better than XP...

Yeah? Like how is 2003 Server better than XP? Examples, please...

2003 codes are optimised and has a higher version (5.2, whereas XP is 5.1).

If XP is better than 2003, then there is no point coming out with Server 2003. XP is enough for server usage.

Also, Server 2003 is 'kinder' with lower specs computers.

2003 server is much more fast in disk access and works better with CPUs. A friend of mine gain some time in SuperPi with 2003 compared to XP. Games have higher FPS in 2003.

2003 has more management console applets and some extra services (for server) it also supports more network protocols.

Running right now have some bugs to work out. no media player installed. you cant download media player so you are stuck with your own mediaplayer. Got my key from connect site im a OS beta tester, dont ask for key :)

@M390: How mnay times can one use the beta key to ativate? I'm not requesting your key, I'm just wondering how many time they can be used. Is it 10 computers, like Vista?

i believe so 10 but dont hold me to it ;) longhorn is vista like windows 2000 is xp same thing but with all the server options added......

pretty good not bloated like vista desktop. except that it read my 2nd partiton as empty for some reason. i thought i lost all my data. ill wait for final looks promising
