Windows Messenger 5.0 (WM5) supports 3 IM (Instant Messaging) services: MSN .NET, Exchange IM (part of exchange 2000) and RealTime Communication Server (RTC, codename Greenwich). RTC uses an internet standard IM protocol called SIP (Session Initation Protocol) I assume any IM server that supports SIP can have this messenger as client. This client also supports Ink messages coming from tablet PC's, This pic shows WM5 on a tablet pc, the receiver of the message also sees the ink messages (when it is turned on the the options) View : Detail from Bink.nu |
