Yes, your browser must accept activex control to download, so you can download it only by an internet explorer browser 6.0 or 7.0 beta. I have tried both, and they are working. But you can't download it by Opera 8 or 9 and firefox 1.5.0.6 i think. If you have ie 6 so try it! Finally you will see a download screen, so save file somewhere on your pc and enjoy...

Linux is great, but it is NOT for gamers. Winex and Cedega are not real (or stable solutions... and crossover office sux too). Sorry, Microsoft dominates the commercial market--sad but true. The change to linux (I triple boot with windows x64, x32 and Ubuntu) won't be easy or popular until a greater percentage of the commercial market recognizes it as a valid and "profitable" OS (i.e. ... more popular). Windows x64 even has better driver support, and it is a baby compared to Linux. Come back to the real world and realize that, until Microsoft is truly challenged. the move to linux isn't really feasible or satisfactory (in many areas). Building a gentoo system IS fun and VERY self-satisfying, but look at the market for software and the majority of drivers designed for hardware.... linux CANNOT COMPETE **yet**
Save your windows bashing, people have their own preferences- i used linux and IMHO it sucks for anyone who isn't into locking down a system tighter than a gnats fanny and very little else. If you want a usefull OS choose windows.

Yes you can mafia_boy, Microsoft isn't quite that stupid.
WRC, as much as I love Linux and am really quite sick of winDOZE, Linux just doesn't have enough programs and games to satisfy me, besically because Linux is not used as the only OS by enough people and it would be pointless making alot of games and programs compatible for Linux. So until that happens, I'll be running Windows as my main OS, just as the vast majoity of the world's population will be aswell.
PS: I really loved your Vista mock LoL.

It sais its downloading at 2.581 GB but its realy downloading at 3.12GB. most downloaders, especially browser downloaders are not accurate when it comes to big files like this.

Another problem... newer flavors of linux are user friendly... but NOT STUPID FRIENDLY. Windows is STUPID friendly. That's another reason people won't make the change. What percentage of the world, do you think, are willing to take on the learning curve of linux? Even with OSs like Ubuntu, Mandriva, and Xandros... very very different. Why make the change when most software just isn't compatible and even open source alternatives to the software are not true substitutes....???? GET F__ING REAL!!!!!!!!!
LOL Windows is not STUPID friendly it has more problems with layering API's then Linux does. True Winblows is easier to use out of the box then any *nix distro other then the *buntu distro's, which btw don't allow for root access so are limited distributions for "challenged" people that can't be trusted to use a real distribution for the power geek...
If you want simplicity and STUPID friendly go play on a Crapintosh and ride the Panther...
Also KDE kinda sucks and is bloody slow but has come a LONG way over the last 2 years. I prefer Enlightenment myself but I quad boot Winblows XP, Vista, BOS, and ELive.
Until a more active part on porting games for Winblows over to the *nix family becomes more active I'll always run Winblows...how unfortunate for me.

I DID get gentoo running... after blood sweat and tears. Very satisfying--from the ground up (not exactly... stage 3 tarball).
...and i won't do it again... grown too lazy and impatient. Perhaps another reason Winblows users resist (including myself... but compiz and xgl rox.. just have to have some kind of linux on my sys to play with!)

So you need a Windows XP, Daemon Tools, A partition tool (e.g. Acronis Disk Director Suite)
Make a new partition (you don't need to buy one), mount the iso with daemon, then install to the partition... Done! You can also format your Windows XP partition if you like.

Well, I tried to uprgrade my Windows XP, and Clean Installed they both did not worked... Error Code: 0x0 is anybody experience this kind of problem like me at all???

Thanks 9down crew , i partitioned off 30 gig and installed a fresh copy. Slightly dissapointed at first glance , i think i expected too much , though it is nice and gets better as time goes by. I've had it on for 15 minutes , pleased i've seen it , will i keep it on? Probably. Would i buy it? Nope

Vaskier , i tried to do an upgrade , but it wouldn't let me , i wasted fuqin hours trying. Everything looked ok , and it seemed it was installing , but just taking a very very very long time. It wasn't til i gave Vista its own partition i finally got it installed , i do think it's worth installing. Thanks again 9down ;)
