no key included. it is the emule iso. no rtm. keys from rc2 dont work. person wrote in a board u have to change a file but not which one. folder efi\microsof there is missing the "t" and a few other told that there are 2 different leaks - one with a bad virus which destroy your partition and one without it. but cannot tell u if this is true and which release is meaned. the english or chinese one. but i think it is very strange cause of the missing "t" i am at 91 % and u can rename the temp file and watch it in magiciso and there u will see this. so i will wait cause there is 1 seeder atm who has complete the file in emule and now the speed is very slow.

This is not RTM. It is, however, supposedly the last "pre RTM" before the actual RTM is to be released. This was given only to specific testers for final testing. I have not heard of a 64bit version of 5840 being released.

I think this is a fake build.5840 does exist, but this is not the real one. Somone just went arround and changed all the build numbers, hence why the .iso isn't UTF and can be oppened up.

It's not a fake,just a pre-rtm, There ARE changes to this build, performance improvements but haven't new visual improvements. It is a very fast release. Photoshop for example, doesn't turn off Aero anymore and the updates are sussccessfullt installed. So compatibility seems to be improved. The overall performance and response is amazing, cause they are growing in performance. Again for the morons, mounting in a virtual mode won't run-there is no key-just burn a dvd and install from it,then you get 30 days until the new built or patch come.

only 99.2% is available for download. That means no one with 100% of the iso is sharing it.
The possibilities are, you can only get 99.2% of the file 0.08% remains corrupt in your downloaded file which means you can't install it. too bad... where are those who made it to 100%?

Yesterday torrent files of Microsoft latest Windows Vista build 5840 started appearing and spreading, today it is popping up on Usenet.
Build 5840 is the build that currently is in Escrow, meaning that it is the candidate to become the Golden build (RTM)
5744 is the latest build that is released to testers, Technet, MSDN and limited CTP. 5808 is the latest build that is released to TAP customers.
5824 was the previous build that was in Escrow but that failed last week.
JUST IN FROM Paul Thurrott: the current internal build of Windows Vista is now 6.0.5920.16384. Whenever Microsoft does finalize Vista--and I'm told it will be on or before November 8--they will artificially increment the build number to 6000, as in "6.0," which is Vista's version number (aka Windows 6.0).
