i think i have a paradox or bios crack because my computer is not a dell but is activated under dell and still is after sp1. so i dunno leecher, it still worked for me!!

I got no idea about cracks working for SP1 as I never needed one for my vista

Official hasent been released yet.

This is beta at best. Unlikly RC.

You will probably have to remove this as soon as the real sp1 is released.

What else is very possible is you'll need to reformat before installing the real sp1.

And if your dont know how to use a computer properly you risk losing all your data.

Many people are finding a watermark on their screen after installing this release and their systems been reverted to evaluation copies.

You have no idea what you're talking about (excluding the watermark part). You don't have to format hdd before installing "real" (what do you mean by "real" btw, this is the genuine OFFICIAL sp1 RC) sp1, just simply uninstall this RC before installing RTM.

I am using vista ultimate x64 without serial + timer stop crack. After installing SP1 RC, I can't open many screens... I can't access anything in control panel... I can't uninstall SP1 RC!!! I lost Aero visuals... I can access system restore but I don't know if it will be a nice solution though... (to restore before installing SP1)

Dont use this it will more then likly screw your system.

I installed this and after restating there was this watermark saying its an evaluation copy. So uninstalled it from the pc by going to controlpanel->programs and features->installed updates and removing "Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB936330)" and reapplied the crack and it s back to normal.

btw i forgot to mention.. this is an official release but is NOT final.. just a preview beta like thing so if you still wanna install expect lots of problems.

The Final SP1 Might render the OEM Emulation useless but it's not implemented in the RC release, Final will almost certainly block any type of timestop tricks tho.

about the crack, first of all this RC will work until june 2008 do you really need more?
and second if you install it over a preactive BIOS emulated (in my case "BIE"), your windows will stay activated.

P.S. my watermark only says "Windows Vista (TM) Build 6001" not a word about RC or Beta

You seem to lack a basic understanding of the technical terms involved in this discussion, so please allow me to explain them to you before you make an even bigger fool of yourself;

Official: released by the software's publisher. I.E. Microsoft, in this case.

RC: Release Candidate. I.E. not final version, but close.

RTM: Released to Manufacturing. I.E. final version.

I hope you can see that what's on this page is the official RC of Windows Vista SP1, just as the subject clearly indicates.

1) major problems with flashget (frequent errors : access denied to X:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\FlashGet\ :O)
which is where FG keeps its Database.
2) major problems with my DVB software (Divide by Zero type errors )
3) i noticed some performance boosts (eg: Copying/Moving Large files & flashget handling it's Database with lotsa files in queue (>2000 files) which is a good thing.

uninstalling SP1 took 15 mins & everything is back to normal except watermark is still there hehe

than windows(Home)it still activated?

i downloaded SP1 from MSN and after install. the time stopper was removed and started counting down days (left 14 days for me). i uninstalled it fron Control Panel and got every thing back and worked normally.
