eMule is a filesharing client based on the eDonkey2000 protocol. This means you are able to connect to official eDoneky2000 clients and visa-versa.

the servers are mostly all gone, also, there are only few that still use the programs now
y not just use ShareBear instead? or torrent

you can not compare emule to ShareBear or torrent. New emule focused on Kad. (server not so importand). Share your upload bandwidth. Do not use leechermods to much! Thanks
