Foobar2000 is an advanced audio player for the Windows platform. Some of the basic features include ReplayGain support, low memory footprint and native support for several popular audio formats.

Features of foobar2000 :

- Audio formats supported: MP1, MP2, MP3, MP4, MPC, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC / Ogg FLAC, WavPack, WAV, WMA, AIFF, AU, SND, CDDA.
- Full unicode support.
- Advanced tagging capabilities.
- Support for transcoding all supported audio formats using the Converter component (requires external commandline encoder executables for different output formats).
- ReplayGain support - both playback and calculation.

- Native support for new free Nero Digital AAC encoder

- APL support (no longer maintained) moved to a separately downloadable component (Monkey’s Audio support)

"Official" APE support? That's music for my ears. =)

It's not useless to point out - for those who maybe don't know - that Peter Pawlowski was the main codec developper for Winamp in the good old times.

It's not a pretty proggie (yet?), but who cares for a pretty skin? It's a proggie, not a woman!

So let's see if the convolve plugin works now. It will be damn funny to play with.
