Hi M8s! Been a long time. Regarding JV16 PT : I have used it 4 2 years and had quite good experiences with it. Let's put it down that way: It was one of the most thorough registry- cleaners. (I only used it for that and for removing program - remnants from registry due to incomplete uninstallation process). This Beta however seems to have more bugs that I can swallow- so I use Tune Up 2007 and WinASO 3.0 RegOptimizer and Registry First Aid Platinum respectively. Occaisonally CCleaner - but the registry - cleaner part in that is not that effective.
Hiya racketeer...I kind of agree...it seems Beta3 has some bugs...the one I've found is that after patching with the above patch...the program starts...runs for a few seconds and then the screen dissappears...however the icon is still visible in the tray and task manager shows the app still running. I've uninstalled and re-installed several times but still the same problem. On checking the above patches, they were for Build2...not Build3. I cleaned registry, re-installed Beta2 and used the above patch and the program runs fine. This could be an issue with the older patch...dont know yet. I'll wait till a newer patch comes out before trying Beta3 again.

The patches listed above are the same ones for Beta2. Although they appear to work for Beta3...they DO NOT. The program quits after a few seconds after starting but shows still running in task manager. I uninstalled and went back to Beta2 using this same patch and the program runs just fine. This old patch is dated 12/02/06....for Beta2. I'm sure a new WORKING patch will be here soon. Duuuuh...
