Microsoft published several weeks ago the final version of the new Windows live measuringclose. After the first expenditure exhibited still some smaller errors, few thereafter days without much attention an actualization was made. With the new version some problems might have been eliminated.
In the version 8.0.0812 the installation routine was changed, so that now optionally also the Windows live Toolbar in their final version can be installed. This is to make the different Windows live services over the Browser accessible, functioned however only with the Internet Explorer.

Diskeeper is a program designed to replace the standard Windows defrag application. As anyone who knows a thing or two about computers will tell you, defragging your disk is essential. CDCheck is an application that checks your CD-ROM and tells you which files are corrupted. It can also do a binary compare with copy on disk. It is especially useful for testing old CDs or just burned CDs to see if they are OK. If some files are corrupted that means it would be wise to move your data to some other media or copy it on another CD.

- Recovery process can now be terminated or paused between retries of reading a sector
- ';' character now valid as comment character for .md5 files
- Disc label not showing problem fixed on DVR-A08 and maybe some other devices when using CDCheck eject/load function
