Microsoft has released version 6 of its Windows Update Software. Once at the website, you'll have to agree to download some new software which may take a couple of minutes, but once done you'll see the new version of the Windows Update website - although there don't seem to be any new updates on there at the moment.Windows Update

This morning at 6am PST Microsoft Corp. formally announced the official name of its next Windows Operating System - Windows Vista.
Beta 1, targeted at developers and IT professionals, will be available by August 3rd 2005.

The SANS Internet Storm Center has released a "killbit" package as a temporary workaround to help Internet Explorer users thwart malicious hacker attacks.
