IE7 An interesting and fresh feature in Internet Explorer 7 (Beta). “Phishing” has become one of the top problems in our internet lives, just like viruses, trojans and most of all spyware. We, users, mainly find “Phishing” in our emails, where spammers take advantage in acquiring our personal details and login details of popular websites. Microsoft made it a priority to help solve this problem by including this element in IE 7 (Beta).Download : IE 7 beta 1 ... more

However, Microsoft made it clear on the official website of Windows Vista that Windows Vista Beta 1 will be in the hands of the developers and IT Professionals by August 3rd, 2005 (This seems to be a MSDN release date). We can expect some new features which will be included with the pre-release, Beta build of Internet Explorer 7. However, there is one distinguishing feature:

IE7 Microsoft has detailed its forthcoming privacy and security plans, which include

enhancements to Internet Explorer 7 and the addition of digital rights management

software into applications at the document level.
Despite earlier plans not to do a browser update until Longhorn's release in 2006, Microsoft chairman Bill Gates confirmed that code for IE 7 will be available this summer in beta and in full by Christmas. The browser will incorporate antivirus technology from recently acquired Sybari, and enhanced anti-phishing software. IE7 The first beta of IE 7.0 isn't expected for a few more months. But information on Microsoft's security, standards and interface plans are trickling out now.Sources say that IE 7.0 – which is code-named "Rincon," they hear – will be a tabbed browser.
IE 7.0 will feature international domain name (IDN) support; transparent Portable Network Graphics (PNG) support, which will allow for the display of overlayed images in the browser; and new functionality that will simplify printing from inside IE 7.0, partner sources said. The new browser also will likely include a built-in news RSS aggregator,

no cross-domain scripting and/or scripting access;improved Secure Sockets Layer ( ... more

IE7 Internet Explorer 7.0, the next version of Microsoft's Web browser, won't just run on Windows XP with Service Pack 2, but will also be available for Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 and Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates announced Internet Explorer 7.0 at the RSA Conference in San Francisco two weeks ago. While scant on details, Gates said the browser would offer security enhancements to protect users against phishing scams and other online attacks. He also said IE 7 would be for users of Windows XP with ... more

Betas of IE7 will be available this summer. This new release will build on the work we did in Windows XP SP2 and (among other things) go further to defend users from phishing as well as deceptive or malicious software.
Why? Because we listened to customers, analysts, and business partners. We heard a clear message: “Yes, XP SP2 makes the situation better. We want more, sooner. We want security on top of the compatibility and extensibility IE gives ... more
