Microsoft Microsoft Sasser (A-F) Worm Removal Tool will help to remove the Sasser (A-F) worm from infected systems. Once the tool has run—after the End-User License Agreement (EULA) is accepted, it automatically checks for infection and removes any of the targeted worms that are found. After running, the tool displays a message describing the outcome of the detection and removal process. The tool can be safely deleted after it has run. Also, the tool creates a log file named sasscln.log in the %WINDIR%debug folder.Download : Microsoft Sasser (A-F) Worm Removal Tool 4.0 ... more

Microsoft Contrary to the remarks it made to the ComputerTimes, Microsoft now claims that it will not permit users who have obtained Windows XP illegally to upgrade to its latest service release. Instead, the software giant will continue to enforce compliance with its licensing.
In a nutshell, Microsoft group product manager Barry Goffe told ComputerTimes that Windows XP Service Pack 2 would not exclude pirated copies from upgrading, and that it was more important to keep user safe than to be "concerned about the revenue issue."

To clarify its position, a Microsoft spokesperson told BetaNews, "Press reports indicating Windows XP Service Pack 2 will install on pirated or illegal copies of ... more

Microsoft Microsoft has never released a service pack for Windows98 SE. But I made a Service Pack for Windows98 SE users. It contains all Windows98 SE updates from Windows Update site and more. It is a self-extracting and self-installing pack like Microsoft's update files. Thus, you cannot choice files individually. However, the pack installs only required fixes for your system. Uninstallation is possible from Add-Remove Programs.
This is only for WINDOWS 98 SECOND EDITION ENGLISH. I highly recommend that you should backup your system before installing the pack.
It contains only operating system updates. It does NOT contain Internet Explorer 6, DirectX 9, Media Player 9 and their updates. ... more

This is the first time someone has successfully broken the algorithm for generating keys for Windows Server 2003 and generate them within seconds. ... more

Microsoft The Windows Installer XML (WiX) is a toolset that builds Windows installation packages from XML source code. The project, originally developed internal to Microsoft, was released today under the Common Public License (a first for Microsoft). With this release developers outside Microsoft can take advantage of the same toolset being used today to create the installation packages for products like Microsoft Office, Microsoft SQL Server, and many others.More information about the toolset and its OSS release can be found at: http://blogs.msdn.com/robmen/archive/2004/04/05/107709.aspx
