RAR is a general purpose archiving and compression program competing with/replacing programs such as PKZip, ARJ, and others. It offers significantly improved compression ratios, easier use and a cheaper price as well as supporting long file names, disk spanning, and self-extracting file creation.

1. WinRAR is able to integrate to Windows context menus also on Windows x64 systems.
2. "Repair" command is able to reconstruct archive headers structure in archives containing the high precision file time or encrypted file data even if they do not have the recovery record.
Previously "Repair" worked for such archives only if they contained the recovery record.

a) internal viewer always used the default WinRAR icon regardless of the selected theme.
b) buttons at the bottom of "Find" window positioned incorrectly when resizing this window and using a non-default theme.
c) rename command did not work for archived files having 5 or more continuous spaces in the name.
