Windows Live Danny Thorpe of the Windows Live Platform team announced on his blog Momentary Gouts of Reason what he calls "a new kind of web component" the Windows Live Contacts Gadget.
What's it for?
The contacts gadget is client-side JavaScript that enables end users to use their Windows Live contacts (from Windows Live Mail/Hotmail and Messenger) with third party (non-Microsoft) web sites, conveniently and securely. Windows Live Microsoft published several weeks ago the final version of the new Windows live measuringclose. After the first expenditure exhibited still some smaller errors, few thereafter days without much attention an actualization was made. With the new version some problems might have been eliminated.
In the version 8.0.0812 the installation routine was changed, so that now optionally also the Windows live Toolbar in their final version can be installed. This is to make the different Windows live services over the Browser accessible, functioned however only with the Internet Explorer.

Windows Live From A-Patch: "That's right! After a few requests (and some help by osmosis on joining the then closed beta) I finally got around to making an ad-remover for Windows Live Mail Desktop. At the moment there is only one option (removing the ad) and it should work on future versions of WLMail Desktop without having to update A-Patch. Although if it doesn't work on an upcoming version, then God-Willing, I will be updating it for everyone. "So what exactly does it do? Simple, it removes the tall vertical advertisement on the right-hand side of WLMail Desktop (and the space it takes up!).
