Vista Inspirat Shell Pack is a complete custom shell pack for all WindowsXP, WindowsXP SP1 or SP2, Windows2003. It consists of modified icons and a new themed appearance for Windows XP
Before launching the installation you must restore Windows XP original state/dll (Without any shell packs). For example, if you have the Longhorn Transformation Pack, you must uninstall it before installing a new BricoPack. What’s new in Brico Pack 1.1:

Microsoft has received a report of an unexpected behavior in the way that the Windows Firewall User Interface handles malformed entries in the Windows Registry. By creating malformed Windows Firewall exception entries in the Windows Registry, an exception could be created in the firewall that would not be displayed in the Windows Firewall User Interface. However, this exception is displayed by the command line firewall administration tools. It is important to note that this is not a vulnerability. Administrative privileges are required to access the associated section of the Windows Registry that contains this configuration information. By using documented methods to manage and create Window

Increasingly, computer users are using different folders, drives, and even different computers (such as a laptop and a desktop) to store and retrieve files. Yet managing hundreds or thousands of files is still largely a manual operation. In some cases it is necessary to get copies of files from one place; in other cases there is a need to keep two storage locations exactly in sync. Some users manage files manually, dragging

Here it is. The unofficial fix list for Windows XP SP3. I want to make sure that you understand that SP3 isn't even close to beta yet, so this by no means is the final list and new fixes are added almost daily. Today we've updated the WindowsXP Service Pack 3 hotfix list with 10 new updates. Some are downloadable via Microsoft Update as security updates and others are non-critical fixes available only by request directly to Microsoft. Either way, they give a good sneak peak into the next Service Pack fixes and features.

Hot on the heals of Microsoft patching the Windows Genuine Advantage program against malicious scripts and hidden checkboxes, an interesting new workaround has been discovered. It seems that running GenuineCheck.exe in Windows 2000 compatibility mode generates a valid authorization key for all systems running versions of Windows XP.As per usual, the workaround has been posted on most of the commercial news sites like CNet, leading us to believe that Microsoft will want to patch it up quickly. The program has been the object of much criticism since it became a mandatory step in automatically updating Windows machines a few weeks ago.
